What are you watching? Movies, shows, documentaries, etc
I finally decided to check this one out. So I watched the first season this weekend. I grew up with the original movie, I watched it in the theater as a young child, so I am very familiar with the characters and all that. some friends told me the music was cool (standard 80's hair bands here and there) and none of the actors is gonna win an acting award anytime soon, but it was cool and entertaining, albeit a bit predictable. Cool from a nostalgia standpoint,

Watching House, now it's on Amazon Prime. Never saw it when it was first out.
First thoughts: he'd've beent fired after the second episode!

Nick, American shows are not based on reality.

I loved that show when it was on. The first 4 seasons were awesome, but after that it sort of fizzled out

I'm revisiting Seinfeld on Netflix; never watched one by one episode.
Now, knowing the history and concept of the show; the Larry David idea of a show about NOTHING, about what's up every day on normal lifes and so... I'm enjoying very much.

Oh I know. Had to re-tune my brain though, I know Hugh Laurie from Blackadder and other UK TV comedies.
And apparently I have House-esque moments (diagnostically, not personality-wise), according to colleagues. Which is nice to know.

I am a self admitted geek. I read a lot of comic books as a kid. I am a big fan of what Marvel has been doing with their movies, and some of them are just plain amazing. That said, there have been some stinkers, but I don't think any of those has been as bad as this. The storytelling is silly, predictable, and in some case, quite insulting to the audience.
