All of my guitars live in their cases when not played. After the intial setup when I get them, it's very rare I have to adjust something afterwards.

I'm always playing them though, which is why I leave them out... I also never had a hard shell case until I bought my Edwards, always just gig bags, so it's habit... But if I must pull out a case I will.

Hardshell cases do a better job, but even if it's a gig bag, keep in in that when you're not playing it.

Maybe your entering a period of sensitivity in your life?

What da ya think guys? Hasn't Gunner seemed overly sensitive lately?

Yeah Gunner, it's the dryness making the wood shrink making the fret edges stick out just enough to feel it. I good luthier in your area can tell you what he or you can do about it. If your necks are oil finished they are more prone to this or if the weather is colder and dryer this year than normal. You can't just grind them down because I believe they may end up too far in when the weather changes back and the neck moves a little bit back the other way.

A luthier in that area will know how to make the guitar right and within specs for year round playing.

One of my guitars had a similar problem although it doesn't appear to be as bad as yours but a generous helping of lemon oil on the fretboard left to soak in over a few days done the trick. When I say a generous helping I mean a little bit more than normal but not swimming in it.
